Santa Cristina Hotel is on the Canfranc Valley, next to the Aragón river and on the historical region of Jacetania, Aragonese Pyrenees. It is 23 kilometres away from Jaca and only two kilometres away from the Somport tunnel that cross to France to the Aspe Valley ( Bearn).
The discovery of towns and beautiful and genuine valleys become easy thanks to the hotel’s strategical location. You will be able to find the traditional mountain architecture , the early stages of the Romanesque, national parks, cuisine and the history of the County of Aragón, whose first capital was Jaca, and the Béarn French Viscounty.
There are several valleys included in the vicinity of Jacetania, like Anso, Hecho, Aragues, Aisa, Borau and Canfranc. South bound, “El Campo de Jaca” and the “Canal of Berdún”, along with the Sierras of Oroel and San Juan de la Peña.
Bordering with the Canfranc Valley , you will spot the Tena Valley, member of the Alto Gallego region. There you will admire the lovely villages and landscapes.
Going further West, the Sobrarbe region in which the occidental valleys, the Ara river and Ordesa National Park are close enough to be visited.
